Stuart J. Murphy's I See I Learn at School Pre-K Literacy Curriculum Testimonials

There is no better testament to the power of our programs than the success stories of our customers. Below is a sampling of some of the many successes teachers have experienced using I See I Learn At School in their early learning classrooms.

Teacher's LOVE I See I Learn!

I liked that the teacher guide was very easy to use. All I had to do was select the skill that I wanted to address with the students and turn directly to that trifold resource guide. It was very easy to use and the illustrations in the books and guides are very colorful and attractive.

I was really impressed with the amount of higher level questions that were implemented throughout the series. Students on a preK-K level will be challenged throughout, which is a huge plus due to the level of questioning that takes place on a daily basis in Elementary School.

At the end of the school year, all of my students needed a refresher on cooperation. They were prone to bicker and argue over the littlest things. So I read Camille's Team to them and we discussed the story after reading and how the characters worked together in the story to accomplish a common goal. Then we discussed how we could apply that same skill in our classroom (cleaning up, lining up, etc.). It helped! I read the rest of the books myself and decided where in the year I would use them as I planned.

I used this program during our daily read aloud time each morning. We would read the book and follow it up with a brief activity from the back of the book and the poster. I would also have these books available for students to read during readers' workshop and literacy centers. I created some puppets/characters for students to use with the books in the retelling center. These were used during our choice center time as well as readers' workshop.

I feel this program is of extreme high quality. The read aloud books alone were enough to make this program fantastic. It is unique to find a series on these important character education skills... not to mention one written and researched so well. The visuals at the end of each book are a perfect way to continue learning and reference long after the book has been read. I am certain students will gain important lifelong skills when they experience the components of I See I Learn At School.
