Psychology, AP® Edition will prove to be the most useful tool possible to introduce students to the study of psychology and to prepare them for success on the AP Psychology Exam.
Our goal is to awaken students’ curiosity and energize their desire to learn by having them read and engage with the material. The sixth edition builds upon the strengths of previous editions, with particular focus on the application of psychological principles to students’ lives. Psychology, AP Edition recognizes the use of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) published by the American Psychiatric Association as the Primary reference for making diagnostic judgments.
Written in a style that draws students into an ongoing dialogue and introduces them to psychology—Psychology, AP Edition is most useful tool possible to introduce students to the study of psychology and to prepare them for success on the AP Psychology Exam. AP Icons, integrated into each chapter, call out where we address each AP Psychology learning objective. Students will benefit from plenty of built-in preparation and practice with multiple-choice questions and free-response questions formatted and styled like those on the AP Exam. A sample test is found at the end of every chapter that contains multiple choice questions and a free-response question, both styled after AP Exam format.
