In March we celebrate Women’s History Month! The National Women’s History Alliance has set this year’s theme as Valiant Women of the Vote in an effort to continue the centennial celebration of the 19th Amendment. The 19th Amendment, which granted women the right to vote, was passed after a decades long struggle for women’s suffrage.
Since the 19th Amendment was ratified in 1920, women’s rights have continued to expand. You can check out a timeline of women’s rights in the U.S. Women now work, have financial independence, raise families, and more. Throughout the twentieth century, women have entered the workforce more and more—including at Savvas Learning Company.
To celebrate Women’s History Month, we want to highlight some of the women on our team!
