Dr. MAC is a committed money educator and community leader. She was listed by Money Magazine as one of America’s 200 best CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER Practitioners, received a Presidential appointment to chair the National Women’s Business Council, and won 2 national awards for her Money Magic ETV series on PBS in Arkansas. Arkansas Business named her one of the top 100 business women in Arkansas. Dr. MAC taught personal finance at UCA for 20 years and UALR for 15 years. Her degrees are from Iowa State University, Texas Women’s University, Ouachita University, Iowa State University, and Denver’s College for Financial Planning.
Being a mother and especially grandmother are some of Mary Ann’s greatest joys. Her favorite 4-letter word after LOVE is S-A-L-E. If it’s a ½ of ½ sale, Dr. MAC struggles to maintain her dignity. Flower gardening and magic are her hobbies.
